Sales Development Representative (Remote)

Remote, Anywhere, Brazil
Full Time

Location: Remote
Compensation: $1,000/month base + uncapped commission
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with US business hours

Who we are

Deer Designer has been running design for agencies and marketing teams since 2018. 600+ clients, 20+ countries, a remote team of about 50+ around the globe.

In 2026 we killed the dedicated designer. Clients used to get one person. Now every client gets a pod: a creative director, senior designers, production designers and client success, plus specialists in video, motion and no-code development. AI handles the production grind. Humans make every call that matters.

Plans start at $1,299/month. Our best clients are agencies that sell design to their own clients and need a team behind them that doesn't drop the ball.

The job

Find agency owners and creative directors who are drowning in design work (or tired of freelancers who disappear), start a real conversation, figure out if we're a fit, and then either book them with Thiago, our founder, or send them straight to checkout.

That's it. No closing, no account management, no side marketing projects. You find, you talk, you qualify.

We're hiring two SDRs. This is outbound first, and the phone is a big part of it. If you hate cold calling, stop reading here. No hard feelings.

What a normal day looks like

• Building lists of US agencies that match our profile in Apollo and LinkedIn, and finding the actual decision-maker
• Calling. A lot. Through JustCall, with every call recorded
• Sending short, researched emails and LinkedIn messages using our sequences
• Following up until you get a yes, a no, or a "not now" with a date attached
• Logging every touch in HubSpot the same day. If it's not in HubSpot, it didn't happen
• Writing a short brief before every meeting you book: who they are, what they need, and why they said yes
• Looking at your numbers every week and bringing one thing you'd change

Who counts as qualified

We'd rather have three great meetings than fifteen bad ones. A prospect is qualified when:

• They're an agency (creative, marketing, digital, web, PR) or a company with its own marketing team
• They have design work every month, not a one-off logo or website
• The person you're talking to makes the buying decision, or will bring the person who does
• $1,299/month doesn't make them laugh
• They want help within the next 90 days

Smaller teams with a steady but modest flow of work go straight to checkout through your personal link. Agencies with enough work to keep several designers busy, or where more than one person signs off, get a meeting with Thiago. You earn commission either way.

The numbers

Your first 2 weeks are for learning the offer, the tools and the scripts. After that, these are the weekly targets per SDR:

Activity

Weekly target

New right-fit contacts added to outreach

400

Dials

300

Qualified meetings held or checkout referrals

2 minimum

We look at both activity and results. Activity without results usually means the targeting or messaging needs work, and we'll fix that together. Results without activity don't last.

How you get paid

• $1,000/month base
• $30 for every qualified meeting that actually happens (no-shows don't count)
• 10% of the first month's fee for every client who signs up within 60 days of your first real conversation with them, whether they sign on a call or through your checkout link
• Commission is paid once the client's first payment clears
• No cap

What that looks like in practice: 10 qualified meetings and 2 new Pro clients in a month is about $800 in commission on top of your base. That's not a promise, it's the math.

Tools

HubSpot (CRM), JustCall (calling), Apollo (prospecting), LinkedIn and Google Workspace. You don't need to know all of them already. You need to learn fast. We can discuss other tools whenever appropriate.

Scripts and messaging

We give you the positioning, scripts and sequences. Stick to them for your first month. After that, test whatever you want inside them (subject lines, openers, call angles) and bring us the numbers. What nobody does is invent their own pitch. Two SDRs describing two different companies is how prospects get confused.

What we're looking for

• Fluent, confident spoken English. You'll be talking to US agency owners who can hear a script from the first sentence
• Previous SDR, BDR, appointment setting or outbound sales experience. B2B services, SaaS or agency experience is a plus
• You do the work without being chased, and hearing "no" 40 times a day doesn't ruin your afternoon
• You research a company before you dial
• You can listen to your own call recording with us and take the feedback without getting defensive
• Reliable internet, a quiet space, a decent headset, and the ability to work US business hours. In the Philippines that means a night shift. If that's a dealbreaker, better to know now
