Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated testing to help ensure the quality and stability of our real-time web applications. In this role, you’ll design and execute detailed test plans, validate features across the stack, and collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to uphold high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Cypress, Jest, and Postman, thrives in Agile environments, and is passionate about delivering reliable, bug-free software that meets business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases for frontend and backend systems.
  • Execute manual and automated test plans (E2E, UI, and integration).
  • Validate deliverables before release to production.
  • Report, document, and follow up on bugs.
  • Ensure that the final product meets requirements and business needs.
  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, and product teams to improve quality continuously.

Requirements

Tech Stack:

  • Manual Testing: Functional, Integration, UI, and Acceptance testing
  • Automation: Cypress, Jest, Postman
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions
  • Testing Types: E2E, UI, Manual + Automated
  • Real-time Testing: Experience validating real-time apps (Socket.IO)
  • Workflow: Agile methodology experience

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 4 yrs of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills to identify edge cases and potential bugs.
  • Proven experience with Cypress, Jest, and Postman for API testing.
  • Familiarity with real-time app testing using Socket.IO.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, stable software in a collaborative environment.
