The Role
We are actively seeking a Junior Design Quality Analyst (QA) to join our growing team in the creative industry. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about design quality, and eager to support designers in producing their best work, we want to hear from you.
Note: This is strictly a quality assurance role focused on reviewing, evaluating, and improving design output based on client expectations and company standards. This is not a design or developer position.
Key Responsibilities (Daily Quality Focus)
- Carefully review each ticket’s revision request and ensure all instructions are followed.
- Evaluate design submissions to ensure they meet our high quality standards and client expectations.
- Confirm that designers complete their internal QA checklists correctly.
- Check design file structures and folders for accuracy and file completeness.
- Respond to designer questions and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Maintain and update the QA Scorecard daily for team performance tracking.
- Flag recurring issues and escalate to the Team Leader and QA Supervisor as needed.
- Write Client Issue Reports for any complaints and coordinate resolutions with the production team.
- Work closely with Designers, Account Managers, and Team Leaders to resolve quality issues.
- Promote and support the use of design standards, tools, and continuous improvement practices.
Requirements
- Experience & Expertise: 5+ years of total experience in graphic design (print/web/digital) with at least 2 years experience specifically as a Design QA or in a related quality assurance role within the creative industry
- Education & Portfolio: A degree/diploma in Graphic Design or related field (QA certifications are a plus and a strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design work and understanding of visual principles
- Technical & Methodology: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern design tools. Solid knowledge of design QA methodologies, checklists, and best practices.
- Professional & Remote: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot design errors quickly and accurately. Strong communication, collaboration, and multi-tasking skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Location & Schedule: 100% permanent remote work, Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day. Schedule is 2:00PM to 11:00PM PH time, with core hours being 6:00PM to 10:00 PM PH time.
