Full Stack Developer (WordPress focused)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full-stack developer who focuses on WordPress to join our team. You will help with designing, developing, and maintaining our company’s websites, landing pages, and web applications.

You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our business goals. You should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, a keen eye for design, and a passion for staying updated with the latest web development trends.

Reporting line

You will report directly to the CEO.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance across various browsers.
• Update, customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements, or develop custom themes and plugins from scratch when necessary.
• Implement creative front-end solutions using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies, while focusing on user experience and design aesthetics.
• Integrate third-party APIs, create custom functionalities, and manage databases to enhance the overall functionality and user interaction of the websites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems that may arise during the development and maintenance phases.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to translate their requirements into functional and visually appealing web solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security practices and ensure all websites are secure by implementing necessary measures and keeping software up-to-date.

What you need to have

• Proven experience as a Web/WordPress Developer.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of WordPress Rest API, Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Posts management, and CRON events.
• Proficiency in Elementor, PHP, HTML, CSS, API, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with Woocommerce and Woocommerce subscriptions, as well as the Stripe API.
• Comfortable with management of web servers, SQL databases, domain/DNS setups, and Cloudflare settings.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Solid understanding of software development and its principles to discuss with other teams, developers, and companies.

• Location: Home-based (Philippines) - Permanent work from home, co-working space, beach, wherever you'd like as long as you have a laptop and good internet connection.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8h/day, 3 PM to Midnight (PH time), with core hours from 6 PM to 10 PM (PH time).
• Designer referral: Earn Php 15,000 for each successful candidate you refer who joins and stays with us.
